Ape XP Seasons: Season 1 closes this Saturday

Ape XP now runs in seasons. Your level never resets: a season is a race of its own, and everyone starts it on equal terms. Season 1 began on 25 October and closes on Saturday 31 October at midnight UTC. From then on there is one season a month, so Season 2 is the whole of November.

How a season works

• Your season XP is the XP you earn that month, on bascdao.com and on XElementia.
• The top 10 is public on /xp, and everyone competes on the same terms, the team included.
• When a season closes, its table is frozen for good. Nothing can move it afterwards.

What the top 10 wins

For the whole of the next month, the top 3 wear a gold, silver or bronze frame around their picture and 🥇 🥈 🥉 next to their level, everywhere on the site. Places 4 to 10 wear a 🏅. Giveaways can also take the top 25 of the season that is running as their participants, so every week counts.

Weekly streak 🔥

Earn XP in a week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) and your streak keeps going. Every week in a row adds +5 % to what you earn this week, up to +25 %. Missed one? One shield a month covers a missed week.

La Jungla

The five XElementia tribes race too: Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Aether. From level 5 (Jungle Ape) you choose your tribe on /xp, and you can switch once a season. A tribe’s score is the average season XP of its active members, so a small tribe can beat a big one (it needs at least 3 active members to rank). The winning tribe wears its crown 👑, and its members wear the tribe’s colour around their level for the whole next month.

Fair, as always

Nobody adds XP by hand, not even the team. Likes, comments and follows only count from Discord accounts older than 30 days, and a ban freezes XP while it runs. Ape XP is recognition: it is never SOL or $BASC, and it never changes your DAO voting power.
