Diamond Hands: how long have you held your apes?

How long have you stood by your apes? Diamond Hands is new on bascdao.com, and it reads the answer straight from the blockchain.

One clock per ape

Every ape you hold has its own clock. It starts the last time that ape came into one of your wallets from somebody else.

• Between your wallets: moving an ape from one of your linked wallets to another keeps its clock
• Listed, staked or lent: a marketplace listing, staking or a loan that comes back to you keeps it too
• Sold or given: an ape that went to somebody else starts again, even if it comes back later
• Since the mint: minted into your wallet and never with anybody else: that is Diamond hands, the top tier

Five tiers

• Diamond hands: minted and never let go
• Platinum hands: 2 years or more
• Gold hands: 1 year or more
• Stone hands: 3 months or more
• Fresh hands: under 3 months

Where you see it

• The board: every member by the ape they have held the longest, plus the oldest hold of each BASC collection
• Each tier: how many NFTs and holders the club has in it, Diamond to Fresh hands
• Your apes: a seal on each of your apes on your profile, and a Held longest sort
• Your Passport: three new badges, Gold Hands, Platinum Hands and Diamond Hands
• Your member card: your Diamond Hands tier on the card that opens on your name, on your public profile and on the club map

Only for pride

Diamond Hands gives no XP and no prizes: it is simply the time you have held. Link your wallets on your profile and your apes are read within a few hours, a few at a time, so the club never overloads the network.
